Each year we also bring Working Partners®’ trainers to our worksite to do employee education and supervisor training. Scheduling and coordinating the sessions is always a breeze, and the trainers are always professional but at the same time very down to earth. The trainers are awesome! They never loose control of the classroom and I am pleasantly surprised each year about how well they receive the presented information. Working Partners® has been invaluable to us!

Drug Abuse Prevention Program Components

An effective drug-free workplace (DFWP) program consists of five drug abuse prevention components that, together, provide a full, comprehensive management and training program designed specifically to meet the needs of your company.

These five drug abuse prevention components are:

  1. Policy and Program Development
  2. Supervisor Training
  3. Employee Education
  4. An Employee Assistance Plan of Action
  5. Drug and Alcohol Testing (as appropriate)

Companies can and do start at different places with their drug abuse prevention programs, depending on their special needs. Working Partners® can help your company get started with a DFWP program that's right for you, or help you put in place the right processes for maintaining your program, depending upon your specific situation.
